éliou jewels began as the passion project of best friends Cristina Mantilla and Duda Teixeira, who ran a creative agency before made-to-order requests began flooding in from the likes of Gigi Hadid and Harry Styles, who remains a loyal fan. The pair now dedicate their full time to the brand and collaborating with like minded artists to bring a unique perspective to the fashion jewellery space.
Made by hand, and still predominantly made-to-order, in Miami, the maritime influence is evident. Cowrie shells, baroque pearls and tiny illustrations of crustaceans adorn earrings and rings, necklaces and anklets, playfully juxtaposing natural materials with modern designs to create “a new wave of statement jewelry for the everyday.”
"The beauty of our business is in the small, but important details that go into making each piece,” say the founders. “Our brand’s foundation was built upon the concept of slow fashion and the deep appreciation for skillful work. Our SS22 collection continues to revolve around this concept by including hand-painted baroque pearls and natural shells.”
