A piece that stands the test of time is worth hunting for. From vintage YSL jewels to the Cartier Crash watch, these are pieces as wearable today as when they were first released, and are increasingly hard-to-find (and collectible) as a result. Take the Cartier Crash watch, said to be inspired by a distorted timepiece bought into the London store for repair in 1967 following a car accident. Or the iconic Givenchy G-link logo chains, dating back to the sixties, when the House of Givenchy began creating costume jewellery.
